A security issue affects these releases of Ubuntu and its derivatives:
– Ubuntu 21.10 – Ubuntu 21.04 – Ubuntu 20.04 LTS – Ubuntu 18.04 LTS – Ubuntu 16.04 ESM – Ubuntu 14.04 ESM
libcaca could be made to crash if it received a specially crafted image.
Software Description: – libcaca: text mode graphics utilities
It was discovered that libcaca incorrectly handled certain images. An attacker could possibly use this issue to cause a crash. (CVE-2021-30498, CVE-2021-30499)
