A security issue affects these releases of Ubuntu and its derivatives:
– Ubuntu 21.10 – Ubuntu 20.04 LTS – Ubuntu 18.04 LTS
Summary:

Software Description: – xz-utils: XZ-format compression utilities

Update instructions:
The problem can be corrected by updating your system to the following package versions:
Ubuntu 21.10: xz-utils 5.2.5-2ubuntu0.1
Ubuntu 20.04 LTS: xz-utils 5.2.4-1ubuntu1.1
Ubuntu 18.04 LTS: xz-utils 5.2.2-1.3ubuntu0.1
In general, a standard system update will make all the necessary changes.
